Embracing Me

‘Embracing Me’ is a 10-session program for women who are traversing the journey of healing and wholeness. It is a unique program developed to encourage and facilitate healing for those who are living with the pain of past or present traumatic or emotionally overwhelming life experiences.

The program aims to nurture a healthy sense of self and increase understanding of how the past is impacting the present, enabling women to feel more empowered to step into the future with renewed hope and courage.

With a focus on holistic, trauma-informed education and care, the weekly sessions are one and a half hours long and are specifically designed to help women develop self-compassion and the self-confidence to engage in safe and healthy relationships. Each session consists of a time of learning, a time for personal reflection and group discussion.

The weekly topics explore: Safe Connection, Self-compassion, My Personality Type, My Beliefs, My Values, Understanding the Parts of Me, Boundaries, Communication and Conflict, Shame and Guilt, and Grief and Loss.

Embracing Me is facilitated by Kerri Sweetman, Counsellor and Co-Founder of Siloam Wellness Centre, and
Hannah Stringer, Unit Facilitator for the Diploma of Counselling Practice at AIPC.
Both Kerri and Hannah are qualified trauma-informed counsellors with a heart to see women flourish.

The cost is $400 for the entire program ($40 per session) which includes a journal, notes for each session and supper.
Places are limited to ensure participants feel safe and valued.
To get the most from Embracing Me, we recommend that participants attend all 10 sessions.
We meet on a beautiful, peaceful property in Draper.

Our next 10-week program will begin on Wednesday April 24th, 2024 at 7pm
